I'm a 61 year old idiot. Maybe part savant, maybe just idiot. I don’t have a clue about using enlargers or big bowls full of foul chemicals and have no interest in old ways of taking pictures because I never took pictures the old ways and I'm too old to start now. I know who Ansel Adams was, though. To me, a dark room seems like a good place to sleep. Or, maybe, just a great place to turn on a light.

Frankly, I like the way things look. Most of the time, the way things look in real life is really, as my kids would say, awesome. Sometimes I think I can make them look even more awesome by changing them in Photoshop. But mostly things look pretty cool the way they are. So I take pictures of them.
